A global people innovation ecosystem

Alongside the development of technology-based solutions, advances in our understanding of how people feel, think and behave create new possibilities to transform work.

The Global HR Valley® is a mission-driven innovation ecosystem. Its purpose is to elevate humans in the future of work. It aims to generate breakthrough innovations, creating both discontinuity and new sources of value. Seven different stakeholder groups are part of the ecosystem, and interact in a climate of openness, collaboration and symbiosis, with a competitive spirit that pushes one another beyond their limits and allows them to thrive.

Launched at the World Economic Forum in 2020, this global ecosystem is anchored in Zurich, in an environment remarkably conducive to HR innovation. Switzerland has repeatedly been rated as the most attractive country where people wish to work, and currently is the world’s most innovative country for the eleventh year in a row. Zurich’s diverse startup ecosystem, featuring 76% foreign founders, provides additional dynamism to the HR Valley®.
