CLFW annual report

Our annual reports highlight yearly achievements across our three areas of work - Discover, Inspire and Shape.  They also feature stories illustrating how we go about crafting a human-centric future of work, together with our partners.

2023 annual report

In the year 2023, while the world of work continued to evolve at an unprecedented pace, we continued to focus our efforts on harnessing the transformative potential of innovations in the people space. We offered leadership towards the future of work with our activities in Discover, Inspire, Shape.

Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and the metaverse have captivated our imaginations, promising both new possibilities and challenges for the way we work. Yet, amidst these remarkable advancements, one truth remains constant and close to our hearts: the fundamental importance of the human element in the future of work.

We are deeply grateful for the support of and collaboration with our Corporate Circle Members, partners, and collaborators in the Global HR Valley®. Together, we shape a more human future of work.

2022 annual report

The year 2022 marked the acceleration of our efforts to leverage new understandings of how people feel, think, and behave to create new possibilities to transform work.

Using big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and building on state-of-the art research, we continued to push the boundaries of knowledge and reveal novel insights. We equipped leaders with socioemotional skills for the future of work. We amplified our impact through the establishment of new partnerships. We contributed to support the University of Zurich’s own transition in the future of work.

None of the above progress would have been possible without our Corporate Circle Members, partners and collaborators in the Global HR Valley®, whose support we are immensely grateful for.

2021 annual report

Over our second year of existence, in the context of a receding pandemic, changes in the work lives of many accelerated. For years, technical innovation has been at the fore for business leaders. Now the time for an emotional transformation has come.

With the need for people innovation thus stronger than ever in 2021, the CLFW team, together with scholars from across the world, have advanced rigorous research about people at work. We added courses to our portfolio, testing novel didactic formats. We actively engaged CEOs, CHROs, startup founders and other people innovators across the Global HR Valley®, in conversations that sparked innovation.

We are deeply grateful to all our partners and collaborators who, despite lockdowns and the challenges they faced, joined our efforts to shape a human-centric future of work.

2020 annual report

Our first year of existence, was a challenging year – the world was struck by the COVID-19 pandemic that changed the working lives of people around the globe.

The newly established Center for Leadership in the Future of Work rose up to the challenge to provide leaders with a go-to place to access rigorous data and reliable analysis on what really works to implement human solutions at scale.

To address the pandemic, the team swiftly communicated immediate actionable insights, based on latest evidence, and successfully embraced digital education. At the same time, it continued to push the frontiers of knowledge on the human sides of the Future of Work, and began to lay the foundations of the Global HR Valley®.
